  • Yoga

    We run regular Athayoga classes on Monday evenings at The Falmouth Hotel. Times are 5:45pm – 7:15pm and 7:30pm – 9:00pm.

    Atha translates as ‘now’. It represents an intention to practise Yoga in this present moment and to follow this process with commitment, compassion and integrity. In our Yoga classes we work to develop this present moment awareness. We also aim to have fun, play with Yoga as a creative process, and provide a safe place to explore life’s challenges.

    These general level classes are suitable for most people. Classes are booked on an eight-week cycle and it is possible to join the class at any time, if there is space.

    Classes do need to be booked and cost just £48 for eight classes (concessionary rate is £40). If you would like to come and try a class, then a one-off session is £8, which is then taken off the eight week course if you then book a place in the group.

    A little about Jerusha, the yoga teacher:

    Jerusha’s Yoga practice has taken her to many places over the years and she has trained with a number of disciplines, including The Himalayan Institute and Don Stapleton. She is interested in how the body remembers and holds memory as posture and pattern; how the breath moves through every cell and how the relationship between body and breath affect the mind.
