Dining

Our delicious menu’s aim to reflect both our location on the South Cornish coast and our head chef’s passion for local produce, using seasonal flavours and letting local quality ingredients do the talking.

One of Falmouth best-situated restaurants overlooking castle beach featuring the best local produce, the menu offers a tantalising mix of international dishes combined with popular British dishes; working with ingredients that are at their peak through the seasons.

Less formal dining can be enjoyed in our Lounge Bar, which offers a comprehensive menu of light snacks and meals or treat yourself to a traditional Cornish cream tea, available from 12 noon – 10 pm daily.

One of the most quintessential of English customs was introduced in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840. The Falmouth Hotel built in 1865 is the perfect place to take part in the customary tradition. Locally scones made accompanied by Cornish clotted cream and homemade jam enjoyed alone as a Cornish Cream Tea or alongside a selection of traditional finger sandwiches, cakes and pastries which can be devoured whilst enjoying the stunning sea views.

Our traditional Sunday lunch is extremely popular with locals and visitors alike and always includes the finest Cornish meats and the freshest local and seasonal vegetables. Paired with excellent service and beautiful views it’s a time to sit back, relax and enjoy the perfect Sunday.
